Joaquin is the founding partner of Dupont & Alonso Group.  He is responsible for the overall strategy of the firm and is actively involved in client relations.

Joaquin has been working in the Financial Industry for over 20 years.  Before establishing Dupont & Alonso Group he was Managing Director at Wells Fargo Advisors for 14 years.

 

He is passionate about new projects yet extremely disciplined. He encourages open communication in the office and with his clients. 

 

Joaquin is an MBA Graduate of Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Universidad de la República of Uruguay. Joaquin holds his Series 7, 66, and 3 registrations. He is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese. Forbes Magazine recognized him as one of the Top Next- Gen Wealth Advisors in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.

 

Born in Spain and raised in Uruguay, Joaquin has been living in Miami since 2010. He is a family man who enjoys spending time with his wife Zelmi and their five children. He likes travelling and all sort of outdoor activities.
